Territorial Army Exam held on 10th Feb 2013

This is a recollection of whatever questions I could remember from the Territorial army exam that I attended on 10th Feb 2013. Am not sure whether it is legal to showcase the question set here. But since I didn't agree or was instructed to otherwise, I choose to put it up for the benefit of TA aspirants. If in case, there is any objection raised to publication of these contents, this blog post will be removed.

Exam format - 100 marks divided into 2 sections. Section A has got two parts & Section B one part. A pass would require 40% in each of the parts & 50% in aggregate. There is NO negative marking.

Section A - Part 1 (30 marks) - Essay on 300 words on any one of the following topics (topics given in brief):
a. Short note on FDI, covering FDI in Multi brand retail
b. Kudangulam project & the activities of NGO around it
c to e. There were 3 other choices, which I couldn't remember.

Section A - Part 2 (10 marks): An essay in English was given and 10 questions based on the essay. the questions would test your English ability, interpretation, reading skills etc.
